1. Automotive
We have a special range of paints, namely “Paxone” which have for many years been used for the coating of Perspex/instrument panels etc. as this product range is not affected by stress cracking. Other purpose designed coatings also available on request.
Paxone Matt Finish – CR532
A quick drying matt finish for painting perspex, without the normally associated stress cracking.
We supply specially developed coatings for pipe identification - applied to newly extruded hot PVC pipes. Colours are manufactured to clients performance.
The coating of plastic substrates is an area Tor are seeing continuous growth in. We have developed both water based and solvent based epoxy polyurethane systems to suit most types of plastic. Please consult our Industrial Technical Manager to establish which of our products will suit your requirements. As well as standard products we have the technology to manufacture fine medium and leatherette grades for plastic refinishing.

Acothane TU tar modified polyurethane or Metrocoat tar-modified epoxy are excellent coatings for pipeline rehabilitation. The nature of these materials allows for a swift abrasive blast cleaning and coating operation with minimum downtime.
Acothane UM Mastic possesses excellent adhesion properties to bare steel and FBE coatings, making it the ideal choice for in-field repairs to damaged FBE coatings. This version of version of Acothane is widely used for the repair of fusion bonded epoxy powder coated pipes and fittings in both factory and field situations.
